The SP SMART is the highest-performance portable tennis ball machine you can buy. With a 300-ball capacity and ball speeds of up to 85 mph, the SMART delivers more speed and spin potential than any other portable machine in the world. Powered by an exceptionally sophisticated microprocessor, it offers 6–8 hours of playtime on a single charge and is available in battery, AC, or AC-DC hybrid configurations.

Control Panel

Right on the panel are 24 buttons, two display windows, and 38 little lights that provide all the control and feedback you need. Absolutely nothing is hidden, and the buttons are springy to provide excellent tactile feedback.

Remote Control

Control all machine functions conveniently from the 22-button remote control. Springy buttons provide tactile feedback, and the machine will beep every time it receives a command — essential communication when you are standing on the opposite baseline.

Memories

Store preferred settings into three different memories. Save settings for three different opponents, or let the whole family use one memory each. Hold the memory button down for 2 seconds to save — just like setting stations in a car radio.

Match Play

Three PRESETS simulate real match points. Each starts with a short ball in the deuce or ad side, followed by shots that replicate real match rallies. Preset 1 features short points with flat ball delivery (think Wimbledon grass). Preset 2 offers more spin and longer rallies (US Open hard courts). Preset 3 delivers long, grueling topspin rallies (Roland Garros clay). Customize any preset by storing your preferred values.

Adaptive All-Court Sweep

Feeds balls randomly horizontally and vertically for all-court coverage. The vertical oscillation is "adaptive" — the computer provides the right amount of vertical oscillation for the speed and spin selected, even at very high speeds and with topspin.

Select-A-Drill

Create your own infinite variety of drills by pressing balls in the Position Selector in the sequence you want. Introduce pauses in the sequence. The drill plays back in exactly the order entered and repeats automatically after the last ball is thrown.

2-Line Function

Set through Select-A-Drill by entering only two ball locations. Create two lines in any of 10 possible court locations, with optional pauses between deliveries.

Angle of Sweep

Select from 10 angles of sweep by pressing two balls on the baseline of the Location Selector simultaneously. Applies to random oscillation and Adaptive All-Court Sweep.
